This Goethite has an amazing formation which grew on top of a hematite coated smoky quartz. This specimen was self-dug from our mining claim in Colorado. Goethite is an iron-hydroxide mineral which displays beautiful crystal sprays. Metallic blades of crystals dance across this specimen.
