Labradorite

Lovely flashes of vibrant blues, golds and greens contrast across this wild Labradorite specimen from Madagascar. This unusual stone is actually a type of Plagioclase Feldspar that has an incredible natural iridescence often referred to as "schiller" or Labradorescence. This effect causes the stone to "flash" different colors when light is reflected at a certain angle. This specimen has been polished to a high gloss finish and has a cut base which stands freely on its own.

Approx: 6" H x 3.25" W x 2" D
