Native Copper

This lovely Native Copper specimen was found in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Copper found in this region is mined in its natural state as "native copper" or as "float" copper which was moved and tumbled by glacial activities thousands of years ago. Copper is one of the few elements on our periodic table to crystallize in its native form. This beautiful, bright, shiny natural specimen is a perfect example!

Approx. 6.5" H x 4.5" L x 1" Deep

Need a display stand?

If you would like a clear acrylic stand to display your specimen horizontally with a slight tilt forward, we recommend adding Stand C1 to your cart.
