Like looking into a sunset locked in geologic time. Blues, pinks, golds and greens can be seen in this Australian boulder opal pendant, and the light catches the colorations beautifully! The name boulder opal comes from the rock formations in which the opal forms. Silica rich fluid flowed into fractures and cracks in rock and began to cool, crystallize and form these incredible opal deposits. This necklace is set in sterling silver.
Approx. .6" L x .2" W x 1.25" H
