Lovely blues and golds dance across this incredible display of Labradorite from Madagascar. This unusual stone is actually a type of Plagioclase Feldspar that has an incredible natural iridescence often referred to as "schiller" or Labradorescence. This effect causes the stone to "flash" different colors when light is reflected at a certain angle. This large mineral specimen has been polished to a high gloss finish and has a cut base which stands freely on its own.
The entire stone has been cut and polished to a high gloss finish. The base has been cut flat to allow the piece to self-stand for a beautiful display.
Approx: 7.75" H x 5" W x 1.5" D
