A truly fabulous Amethyst and Calcite geode from Brazil. This stunning piece has vibrant purple amethyst crystals, accented by a large white Calcite rhombohedron. If it weren't enough, the Calcite crystal fluoresces a bright pink-orange color under UV light, AND the Calcite crystal is nestled within a thin coating of lustrous black Hematite crystals!
While amethyst geodes from this location are not uncommon, the large natural calcite crystal secondary mineralization with third Hematite crystallization makes this a very unique piece. The exterior and surrounding edge of the geode has been lightly polished.
