A truly spectacular array of colors and shapes on this large Polychrome Jasper from Madagascar. Bright sunset oranges and reds contrast beautifully with deep teals and blues on this incredible piece. Jasper can form in a wide variety of colors, but this piece is truly exceptional. This type of stone is a micro-crystalline variety of Quartz, which occurs both as nodules and in ribbon-like deposits within fissures. The stone has been cut and polished to a high gloss finish, and has a flat cut base which allows the piece to perfectly self-stand.
