This is a Mosasaurus paddle bone from Khouribga, Morocco. Approximately 68 million years old, this fossil has been left in the original rock matrix in which it was found. This paddle bone was an important one for the Mosasaurus as it was a swimming dinosaur. If you've searched around our shop and seen the ammonite shell fossils we offer for sale, then you've seen the Mosasaurus' favorite dish. It used to hunt and eat ammonites!
