A rare and stunning variety of purple Labradorite from Madagascar. This unusual stone is actually a type of Plagioclase Feldspar that has an incredible natural iridescence often referred to as "schiller" or Labradorescence. This quality can best be seen when exposed to bright or changing light. While Labradorite can display a variety of colors when exposed to light (typically blue or gold), this purple is by far the rarest. This piece has incredible color, with purple, blue, and hints of pink and gold!
The entire stone has been cut and polished to a high gloss finish. The base has been cut flat to allow the piece to self-stand for a beautiful display.
Approx: 4.25" H x 4" W x 2.75" D
