The estimate of the size of this meteorite was around 26 metric tons, some estimates believe it was closer to 100,000 lbs. Due to the size of this meteorite, abundant specimens were recovered, which is why they are often slightly more affordable than other meteorite specimens. However, the majority of material from this location is considered “mined out”.
