Is it a dragon scale or a fossil? This incredible piece of Ammolite is a shell fragment from a rare and ancient Ammonite fossil, dating back approximately 70 million years. When tilted in the light, a rainbow array of colors can be seen, ranging from greens and teals to the rare and highly coveted blues and purples. Flashes of orange and pink present at certain lighting angles make this piece appear almost like a stained glass window!
