An electric blue Azurite nodule that looks good enough to eat! But seriously, don't eat it. Sometimes called Azurite "Blueberries" because of their striking resemblance to the magical blue fruit, these crystals are actually concentrations of the mineral Azurite that form into rounded shapes or nodules.
This piece features a deeply saturated blue hue, with incredible rosettes of Azurite crystals on the exterior. The Azurite nodule has been cut in half to display the Azurite crystal pocket on the inside. This pair comes from the Rubtsovsk Mine, Rubtsovsky District, Altai Krai, Russia. The cut side has been polished to a high gloss finish, with natural Azurite crystals inside. The exterior has been left in the raw and natural state.
