This famous locality for petrified wood demonstrates the incredible detail still present in these fascinating fossils. The front and back of the bookends have been cut, with the front side polished to a high gloss finish. The tops and sides have been left in their raw and natural state, displaying the original texture of the tree bark.

This piece is self-standing and the interior and base of each side has a thin felt layer applied to prevent scratches.
