Like holding a crystallized blueberry in the palm of your hand! This Azurite nodule looks good enough to eat, but seriously, don't eat it. Sometimes called Azurite "Blueberries" because of their striking resemblance to the magical blue fruit, these crystals are actually concentrations of the mineral Azurite that form into rounded shapes.
This Azurite nodule has been cut in half to display the beautiful sparkly and gemmy Azurite crystals inside. This beautiful pair comes from the Rubtsovsk Mine, Rubtsovsky District, Altai Krai, Russia. The cut side has been polished to a high gloss finish, with the natural Azurite crystals inside. The exterior has been left in the raw and natural state.
