A soft, gray-blue Chalcedony base layer covers the basalt rock matrix famous from the Deccan Traps area of India. This region represents one of the largest volcanic deposits on earth. Air pockets within the basalt host rock are the perfect growing environment for crystals like these to form, creating a stunning display.
