A deep purple Fluorite stone slab with golden veins of Pyrite from the Josefa Veneros Vein, La Collada Mining District, Asturias, Spain. This famous mining area in northern Spain contains the La Collada Mining District, the Berbes Mining District and Villabona Mining District all famous for their Fluorite production.
The stone was extracted from the La Collada mine and cut into a slice or slab, with the front of the stone polished to a high gloss finish and the back remaining in its raw and natural shape.
