Halite
A fun stack of cubic Halite crystals from Beni Mellal, Morocco. A new find unearthed in 2025, these Halite cubes are actually crystals of salt! Sodium chloride (NaCl), just like you might find in your kitchen pantry, has an isometric crystal structure. That means these crystals formed into cubes naturally and have not been cut or polished.
Please note: Halite is water soluble, so do not clean these mineral specimens with water. For cleaning tips, check our crystal care tips below! These specimens are strictly for display only, do not consume.
