Like holding a crystallized bubble bath in the palm of your hand! This lovely Hyalite Opal specimen comes from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. This unique variety of Opal, is an amorphous silica-glass that contains between 3 to 8% water. The sphere-like shape of the crystals give the specimen a bubbling appearance. When exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light, the specimen glows an electric green color!
