With such incredible detail, at first glance, you might think this tree limb was freshly cut! This petrified wood limb comes from Deschutes, Oregon and is dated at approximately 15 million years old. The face of the limb has been cut and polished to a high gloss finish, with the sides left in their raw and natural condition. This Miocene age wood likely came from a variety of Oak tree.
